Technician Certification Programs
You have a choice of several technician certification programs
all taught by highly qualified instructors with extensive "on-the-job" experience.
- Each certification program requires the successful completion of specific training course(s) and written exams.
- Training is provided at our Dallas Learning Center as well as locations throughout the country.
- Certifications are valid for 3 years.

- Electrical Safety for Inspectors
These courses have been scheduled so that certification can be completed within a two-week period. The NEC course may be waived if the person is a Certified Electrical Inspector-General from the IAEI and submits a copy of the Certification.

| Certified Fiber Optic Technician Program | This certification requires the successful completion of the following courses and exam(s):- Fiber Optic Splicing and Testing, Basic
- Fiber Optic Splicing and Testing
This course is recognized and registered with the Fiber Optic Association and instructed by Certified Fiber Optic Technicians. Students wishing to join the Fiber Optic Association and complete the Fiber Optic Association Certification Exam will receive a FREE application for the exam upon successful completion of the AVO Certification Exam.

Certification Validity and Recertification
- Certification programs requiring multiple courses must be completed within
18 months.
- Certification is valid for 3 years.
- Recertification fee is $350.00 and is accomplished by exam only
(no additional courses are required). The recertification exam can be taken at
our Dallas Learning Center or at your facility.
