Learning Objectives
• Understand the hazards of operating electrical equipment.

• Understand the proper use of flash protective equipment.

• Properly install equipotential grounds.

• Know proper approach distances associated with exposed energized equipment.

Who Should Attend
Operations personnel who operate energized electrical disconnects and circuit breakers and their immediate supervisors. Any employee whose work exposes them to hazards associated with operating electrical equipment.

Requirements
Requires basic knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
